This Platinum Stages Star Stand Alone Dancing Pole comes with a 3 inch high base which spans 5.8 feet in diameter. The large diameter gives the dancer ample floor space and keeps the pole stable. The base is a bit thicker than earlier versions of Platinum Stages stand alones. This lowers the center of gravity on the pole and therefore enabling it handle heavier weight.
